Bonfire studio is a website building platform creators use to build websites .
It uses a series of drag and drop tools, web3 powered modules, and an interactive build canvas.
I designed the high level platform architecture as well as a series of core features
Each section of page content is organized by blocks. Blocks have varying level of formatting capabilities depending on the block type. I designed the platform to be interactive, with all elements on the canvas actionable,
Users can define site styles using the styles tab. The styles here are also informed by brand styles, which are set in the Dashboard and establish consistent brand styling across all websites within the same brand umbrella.
We wanted to implement a way for creators to manage the publishing states of their sites, and also establish a way to reference drafted and historical updates to their pages.
We found that users with common creator content were building pages using the same block types reapeatedly. To help users expedite the build process, we implemented a wizard-like page builder to allow users to bypass complex formatting and launch personalized pages in just a few minutes.
I worked with another designer to establish and maintain design standards across all new feature elements being implemented across the platform. We developed a page templating system to create consistent productivity.
